Hershey is a sweet neutered male senior dog (12yrs old) who is deaf and is losing his eye sight. He loves walks, enjoys snuggling on the couch or on his soft dog bed, has a great appetite and loves sitting for his treats. With his loss of hearing and diminishing eye sight, he is best with adults and children that understand his needs. He is very friendly to all people and animals. He is fully housebroken and kennel trained. He is truly a handsome fella with his big ears and beautiful brown coat. He does not bark although, he has a very unique sound - similar to a baby elephant trying to howl like a wolf.. It is definitely a sound that can put a smile on your face! Hershey is currently staying at Leo's Lodge in Black River Falls, WI where he can relax outside of the shelter until his special person finds him.
