Here at JCAS all stray animals entering our facility will undergo a FIVE (5) day stray hold period, comprising 4 days plus the day of confiscation. Per Wisconsin State Statute 173.19 Consequently, on day SIX (6) of custody, animals not reclaimed may be put up for adoption or transferred to another facility for adoption. If you are not their owner, but would love to be if they come up for adoption, please fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION and we will get in touch with you.
